Wok Star Asian Cuisine Closes Its Doors

After less than three months in business, the restaurant has closed.

A dispute between owners is reportedly to blame for the closure of Wok Star Asian Cuisine,.

The following question was posted by a Wok Star Asian Cuisine Facebook fan on the restaurant's page: “Is it true that Wok Star has closed down due to an argument amognst [sic] the owners?” The page administrator responded simply with “Yes.”

Wok Star was originally schedule to open in April of 2012. Construction delays pushed the opening back to June 25. Now, less than three months later, the restaurant is closed.

Wok Star Asian Cuisine, located at 525 Dacula Road, Suite 220 in Dacula, was described by owner Tony Ramirez as a “chef owned” restaurant “created for lovers of true Asian cuisine.”

Attempts to reach the owner for comment have been unsuccessful.

You are so right Greg. In this day and time everyone has to grow up ...Life is tough enough without extra added stuff. Maybe if they had drawn up a contract that spelled out the expectations. About 5yrs ago, I found out the hard way too. Partners are tough....Legal Shield could have helped . No matter how tramatic or trevial. Questions go to www.kellyandellen.com

I know the people who owned the WokStar in Roswell and they went through the same thing with them. They opted to close their doors after only 2 months rather than get involved with what the WokStar "owners" have going on. It's sad when someone who lives in the community can't even operate above board. Shame on all of you at WokStar.

I never had a chance to eat there. I stopped in to see what they were all about. One look at the menu told me I would not be eating there. The prices were way too high for the type of food being served. Oh well. Another vacant storefront. Let's build some more strip malls!

I am so disappointed. This was one of the few Asian restaurants to offer gluten free food I could trust. Not sure why everyone is complaining about the prices. The food is several cuts above something like Panda Express. In any case, I would gladly have paid for the joy of eating gluten free there.
