Find Deceased Pet Care at These Upcoming Atlanta Events

Atlanta is a social city—Not only is it home to several professional sports teams and the world’s largest aquarium, its the stomping grounds for countless festivals and popular pet events.

Spring is an especially active time for the city, and the festivities aren’t limited to two-legged participants. Deceased Pet Care works to make an appearance or even have a booth at the various pet events in the city so stop by and say hello when you plan to attend any of the following:

PAWFest – Tribble Mill Park

Join us as we celebrate with the Gwinnett Humane Society at PAWFest on Saturday, May 5 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. The event kicks off early at 9:30 a.m. with a PAWFest “Pack Hike” for the active pet parent and pooch, then continues on with a silent auction and plenty of contests for your pet to show off. Entertainment will include obedience and agility demos from local dog squads, music, and food. Affordable vaccinations will also be offered.

Atlanta Dog Jog – Piedmont Park

The Atlanta Dog Jog is the perfect time to strap on your running shoes and hit the pavement with your dog. The event, set for May 12, will welcome Victoria Stillwell, star of It’s Me or the Dog, with proceeds going to benefit the Georgia Veterinary Association Foundation and Canine Assistants, a group that breeds and trains service dogs. Runners and walkers of all athletic levels are welcome to join the group on this one mile or two mile course.

Staying active with your pet is a great way to get into shape for bikini season and to enjoy bonding with your furry friend; each of these events involves an activity, from hiking to a 2-mile run, so if you’re up to the challenge, they’re a great opportunity to get your workout in with a smile. Before hitting the course with your canine, review a few tips from - World and the New York Times on hitting the pavement with your companion; their helpful tips will help you to make sure that both you and your pet have the best time possible while out on the trails. Afterwards, be sure to share photos of your day with us on Facebook! We’d love to see you and your pup’s smiling faces after a day at one of these wonderful events.

"There are people in all levels of government office who would like nothing more than to beRead More able to conduct all the public business out of public view" The problem is, who's going to stop them? Certainly--no one from this justice department who is complicit in multiple overreaches and coverups.

I wrote this on another post but it so applies here and is worth repeating: James Madison wrote inRead More the federalist paper (no. 51) concerning the separation of powers and need for limited government , "“ It may be a reflection on human nature, that such devices should be necessary to control the abuses of government. But what is government itself, but the greatest of all reflections on human nature? If men were angels, no government would be necessary. If angels were to govern men, neither external nor internal controls on government would be necessary. In framing a government which is to be administered by men over men, the great difficulty lies in this: you must first enable the government to control the governed; and in the next place oblige it to control itself. A dependence on the people is, no doubt, the primary control on the government……” We need to have a "Madison moment"...
