Are You the Hated Rich?

“Yes We Can” was Obama’s last campaign slogan. “Oh, Yes He Did” should be his new slogan as in, “Yes He did ruin the economy!”  

A gallon of regular gasoline the day Obama was inaugurated was $1.79 on average in the U.S.  Today that price is $3.59, a 100.6 percent increase. The number of food stamp recipients has risen since Obama took office from 31,983,716 to 43,200,878, a 35.1 percent jump.  Long term unemployment soared 146.2 percent during the same 32-month period from 2,600,000 to 6,400,000.  Our country is now in a free fall state of decline. From our once position of power and glory to a country of weakness and worry.

Do you believe the rich should be taxed while 50 percent of US citizens pay no taxes?  Working Americans are troubled with the state of their country and feel that their country’s best days are behind them.  Some American’s even feel like our form of government, which has been a republic for over 200 years, is now heading towards a socialistic form of government.  Socialism is a political and economic theory that advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned and regulated by the community as a whole.  Also, socialism, in a Marxist theory, is a transitional social state between the overthrow of capitalism and the realization of communism as the form of government in power.

Is our great United State now in a transition from a capitalism form of government into a communistic form of government?  In the Marxist Theory, are we in the transition period?  Are we moving towards a country where our government will control not only the production of products, the distribution of goods and services and the exchange of services but also our religious rights and our sexual reproductive lives?   

When our leaders say they will, “Redistribute the Wealth” from the wealthy hirers of workers to the non-working poor, is that socialism?  Do you really hear what is being said? When the fruits of your “rich” labor is given to those who will not work, is that socialism?  Those working are now the “RICH.”  Do you have a job?  Do you have a 401K?  Do you have any savings? Do you have a home?  You are “THE RICH!”  Maybe you don’t make the $200,000 income that the government calls “the RICH” yet when they are finished stealing from those making $200,000 then the amount WILL BE lowered, and lowered, and lowered until there is no longer but one class, the governmental leaches.    

Let me be clear, the exchange of wealth I am speaking about is not your unemployment benefits.  If your employer has paid into the unemployment system then you are entitled to that amount back if you become unemployed.  Yet, there are many in this country who “work the system.”  They work just long enough to qualify for unemployment and then lay until their benefit run out. This is their way of life.  Others draw a check from the government because they fall into a category that is identified as needy.  At this time, the needy and other groups of our fellow citizens make up over 50 percent of our population. How can it be that one of two Americans can’t provide for themselves?  How they each arrived there is a topic for another article.  

America is borrowing from other countries in order to pay our fellow citizens a check or benefit each month.  The cash cow has run out of milk as it were.  The working “rich” are no longer producing enough wealth to pay our fellow citizens their governmental benefits.  We have never been this poor as a country.  Washington leaders will not take the hard stance to turn this country around for fear of loosing votes that keep them in Washington. Too many politicians and not enough statesmen in Washington today!   

How can Washington take the greatest republic country in the world and deform it into a socialistic form of government?  Step one, is to get the majority of it’s people dependent upon the government.  Goal accomplished.  Fifty percent of our fellow citizens are now dependent on the government in some form or another.  Step two is to set up a class war between the haves and the have nots.  Obama has done just that.  We now hear the hate lingo at his speeches -- “tax the rich, take from the rich, the rich don’t deserve the fruits of their labor -- you deserve the riches from their risk taking and from the sweat of their brow.” 

In the words of a great American, “Are you better off now that you were three years ago?”  So, tell me, “ Are you better off than you were three years ago?   Have you progressed up the corporate ladder in the past three years?  Do you make more money than you did three years ago?  Is your house worth more than it was worth three years ago?  Do you have more money in your savings than you did three years ago?  Is your grocery bill lower than it was three years ago?   Is your monthly car gas bill higher than is was three years ago?  Was your Christmas better than it was three years ago?  Are your family finances stronger than they were three years ago?  Simply put, are you better off than you were three years ago?  

In the past three years many Americans have moved from a self reliant form of self governing to a socialist form of governmental care.  Never before have so many relied on the government for their basic needs.  Do you think the 50 percent are going to vote away their governmental livelihoods in this drowning economy?  If you did not have a job and were getting free health care, free dental care, free food stamps, free housing, free tuition, free cable and free phone, from the current leader, would you vote for a different leader?  Of course not, no one would bite the hand that is feeding them. Could you vote for a new leader that would take away your benefits for the overall good of the republic and future of our great country. NO!  You need your government benefits and have grown accustom to them each month.  Why would you rock the socialistic boat?

While the working are too tired to vote, the governmental leaches are more than happy to “Get onboard and keep their government way of life coming!”  Will the 2012 election product four more years of the same or will the workers of America take back their great country from the brink of socialism?   Educate yourself and VOTE!  No Consequence - No Change!
