Memorial Day in Dacula founder, Marvin Atherton, has announced the theme for the 2014 Memorial Day parade: “Courage – Sacrifice - Freedom”
The 21st Annual Dacula Memorial Day parade theme pays honor to those men, women and animals that paid the ultimate SACRIFICE with their service and COURAGE to protect our FREEDOM.
Sgt. Reckless, a Korean War hero horse, will be featured in the 2014 Memorial Day parade in Dacula. The Central Georgia Mounted Color Guard will provide the stand-in horse to honor Sgt. Reckless in the parade.

The parade will step off promptly at 10:00 am Monday, May 26, 2014 from Hebron Baptist Church and proceed down Dacula Road toward historic downtown Dacula.
Participant entry forms and details regarding the parade will be available in January 2014 on the Memorial Day in Dacula website at www.daculamemorialday.com
