A Warning About Jehovah's Witnesses & Your Community

I am a volunteer with Advocates for Awareness of Watchtower Abuses (AAWA). We have been following the articles about the new Kingdom Hall that the Witnesses want to build and the environmental concerns of the community.

AAWA has lots of additional information that is available that will help to show why allowing this Kingdom Hall to be built is not in the best interests of the community.

A key issue to highlight is that when the JW elders are told of child abuse in the congregation, if the accused pedophile denies the accusation or there is not an eyewitness to the rape, nothing is done. No report is made to the police. Nothing. The other families in the congregation are not warned.

Even worse, if there is a known pedophile in the congregation this is kept quiet. AND the predator is required to go door-to-door offering Bible studies to unsuspecting people in the community.

If that isn't a community hazard, I don't know what is.

We just released a brand new video yesterday. You are encouraged to watch it and share it with the decision makers in your county: http://aawa.co/ (follow the link to the article and the video).

Let me know if I can do anything else to be of assistance.

Have a great day,
