Dacula Dolphins Congratulates Its Swimmers Who Qualify for the NGSL Pentathlon
Dacula Dolphin Swim Team works in partnership with the Gwinnett County Parks Department and swims out of the Dacula Park Pool.
The NGSL holds the Pentathlon Meet each year at the Winder YMCA. This event is one of the four major swim meets that gather all of the NGSL teams together. This is the leagues version of the Iron Man, and only experienced swimmers can be chosen by their coaches to qualify for this meet. The required qualifications are that the swimmers need to execute all four strokes in accordance with USA standards. Each swimmer will participate in heats for all four stokes, plus the 100 IM for a total of five events. The individual’s performance is totaled from the results of the five events, determining the individuals standings at the end of this meet.
