Community Update

As I mentioned in an earlier post, I truly enjoy eating at Del Rio. I've known the owner/manager and his wife for some time, mostly because we eat there so often. I should qualify what I am about to say by telling you that my wife and I are destination eaters. We will drive long distance is we crave a specific style of food or to find quality. We have tried many Mexican Restaurants and have yet to find a place as reliable with their food, or one that provides a better bang for the buck than you can get at Del Rio. I like that they are often changing their menus, so ever so often they mix it up and add new things to the Menu. Their Chef comes up with ideas, often adding traditional Mexican dishes or Americanized version to their menu. Just recently I brought my son and the Manager was excited to tell me about some new changes coming to the menu. He offered to make me a Ceviche wrap that would soon be offered. I accepted and was VERY pleased with this new wrap. It was basically their Ceviche inside a lower calorie tortilla wrap, with spinach, avacado and some other things. It was awesome. I can't wait to try it again when the new menu comes out (in October I think). They are adding a bunch of other dishes as well. Kudos. We are very fortunate to have something like this Restaurant in Dacula. I'll take the occasional Waiter speaking to me in Spanish for a reliable experience like this so close to home. Lastly, if you EVER have a bad experience, ASK for the Manager. He will always work to make you happy.
