Job title: Business services associate I or II 
Job description:

  • Receives, codes, processes and maintains a variety of purchasing requests, payment requests, maintenance agreements, invoices, accounts receivables and/or other related documents. Reconciles financial reports against records.
  • Files and maintains financial records, logs and forms.
  • Performs audits of financial activities and procedures.
  • Data entry information contained on purchase requests, journal vouchers, capital service requests, work orders, invoices and/or other related financial documents.
  • Performs a variety of clerical and/ or receptionist functions, which may include typing, answering phones, filing, copying, faxing, opening and distributing mail and/or performing other related activities.

Education and experience

  • Level I — High school diploma or GED, one year of bookkeeping, auditing, accounts payable and/or accounts receivable experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above
  • Level II — High school diploma or GED, three years bookkeeping, auditing, accounts payable and/or accounts receivable experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above

  • Level I — General bookkeeping principles, balancing and reconciling financial information and data, office procedures, methods and equipment, 10-key proficient, data entry techniques, communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc., sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction
  • Level II additionally requires — Basic accounting principles, applicable laws, rules, and regulations and researching and resolving financial discrepancies

Job title: Tax services associate I
Job description: Responsible for providing customer service and handling money. Processes customer payments transactions to include balancing, reconciling and adjustments using remittance processing systems and associated computer equipment/software. Performs various workflow assignments preparation of work for processing, distribution of output to Internet or external customers, tracks work moving in and out of work unit. Files and maintains financial records, logs and forms. 
Qualifications:

Education and experience

  • High school diploma or GED and two years of related experience or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above
  • If selected for an interview, applicants will be required to take a basic math test and data entry test
  • Must have valid Georgia driver's license

Knowledge and skills

  • Strong data entry skills
  • Office procedures, methods and using high-speed imaging equipment
  • Skill in accurately/efficiently performing detailed transactions
  • Demonstrated competencies in banking operations, item processing systems and/or payment systems
  • Maintaining records and preparing reports
