Broad Street and Circle Road CSX Railroad Crossing to be Closed for Rail Work
Expect delays when traveling through downtown Dacula as traffic is rerouted from Broad Street and Circle Road.
CSX Corporation is closing the Broad Street railroad crossing and Circle Road crossings for rail work.
Motorists and pedestrians who normally cross the tracks at Broad Street should plan on using the bridge at Dacula and Harbins Roads. Residents should expect more traffic along these roadways during the rail work and caution should be used in the area. The Broad Street crossing will be closed Feb. 8-10 according to a press release from the Gwinnett County Department of Transportation.
The Circle Road crossing will be closed Feb. 9-10 for railroad repairs. The detour route will be Circle Road to US 29/Winder Highway to Dacula Road to Fence Road to Circle Road and the reverse.
