Job Opening: Collection development librarian

Company Information: The Gwinnett Public Library System currently operates 15 branch locations.

Job Description: The employee working as a collection development librarian will serve as an expert in selecting and cataloging Library materials. This individual will research trends and recommend materials to Library administration.

Job Qualifications: Applicants should have excellent cataloging skills and experience in materials management. A master's degree in Library Science from a program accredited by the ALA is required. Two years of experience in a public library is preferred. Applicants will be required to move up to 20 pounds frequently and should be willing to work at any of the 15 branch locations.(Geographic location of applicant will be considered for placement)
