Job Opening: Systems coordinator

Company Information: The Gwinnett County Public Library is currently hiring a systems coordinator. There are currently 15 separate branches of this library system.

Job Description: The systems coordinator at the GPL is responsible for supervising the Help Desk and managing the ticketing system and project workflow. If hired for this position, the employee will research and test technology for maintaining effective operations. The systems coordinator will provide technical support by managing daily operation of the Library's software, hardware, networks and other related equipment. This is a full time position that pays approximately $45,000 per year.

Job Qualifications: Applicants with similar work and supervisory experience are preferred. Applicants should be excellent communicators, have knowledge of several programming languages and scripting, and have a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. If hired, applicants will need to be able to fulfill the physical aspects of the job which involve crouching, stooping, squatting, twisting, pushing/pulling 50 pounds and lifting up to 20 pounds.
