Job Opening: Financial aid technician

Job Description: Gwinnett Technical College is hiring a financial aid technician. This position is benefited, full-time, 40 hours per week position with a salary based on employee's education and experience. The individual hired as a financial aid technician will be responsible for the following: providing state and federal financial aid information to students; coordinating financial assistance programs including scholarships, grants and student loans; developing and maintaining student financial records; maintaining a current knowledge of DTAE operations and polices, federal and state financial assistance programs and laws and technical college procedures; demonstrating trustworthiness and responsibility.

Job Qualifications: Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED. Six months experience with clerical and accounting duties are required. Preferred applicants will possess or be working towards a degree or diploma in a related field. More preferred qualifications are listed on the job posting website.
