Job Opening: City solicitor

Job Description: The City of Winder is currently hiring a city solicitor. This employee will be hired as a contractor and paid on a per contract basis.  The city solicitor will perform advanced professional legal work including the prosecution of suspects in misdemeanor criminal cases. Employee will also be involved in the administrative and research functions in civil areas.

Job Qualifications: Applicants must have a Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school, a license to practice law in Georgia and be a practicing member of the Georgia State Bar Association as well as have three years' experience as a practicing attorney.
