Job Opening: Resident assistant

Company Information: Emeritus Senior Living located in nearby Buford is hiring a resident assistant. Residents living at Emeritus are seniors who can no longer live at home alone but do not require full-time nursing care. This position is located at the Emeritus Lake Springs location at 4355 South Lee Street in Buford.

Job Description: Resident assistants at Emeritus Senior Living facilities work with nurses to assist residents with daily activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, mobility and other areas of care. Employees must keep accurate records, report changes in the condition of residents, assist with dining support and interact with the families of residents. This is a regular full-time position.

Job Qualifications: Applicants should be capable of completing training as required by the state and be willing to obtain a food handlers permit. Applicants should be able to read, write and speak English and communicate effectively with residents. Employees will need to meet all health requirements including TB and background checks.
