Did Anyone Win Powerball?

Jackpot for Wednesday night's drawing was $588 million.

Two winning tickets were sold in the Nov. 28 Powerball lottery according to the Georgia Lottery website. The tickets were sold in Arizona and Missouri.

The winning numbers were 5-16-22-23-29 with a Powerball of 6.

Though the jackpot winning ticket was not sold in Georgia, a $1 million ticket and numerous $10,000 prize tickets were purchased in the state. One person won $1 million by matching all five white balls. Thirty-three people won $10,000 by matching four of the white balls plus the Powerball number.

Each Powerball ticket cost $2. Players choose five numbers plus a sixth Powerball number. Players matching all six numbers can select an annuitized amount paid out over 29 years or a lump sum payment. For complete details, visit the Powerball website.

ABC News reported lottery officials expected to sell more than 105,000 tickets every minute before the drawing. Despite the long odds for the big jackpot, the overall odds of winning a prize are considerably better at 1 in 55.

Since the last drawing on Nov. 24, the Powerball jackpot grew by over $100 million to a record $588 million

The jackpot for the Saturday, Dec. 1, drawing is an estimated $40 million. The Powerball lottery drawings take place Wednesday and Saturday nights at 10:59 p.m. Eastern time

I would give 15% to God. Take 1/3 of it and split it between my immediate siblings. Give my parents a substantial amount. Pick several charities and set up trust funds for them. Travel to 3rd world countries and help the less fortunate. Definitely take care of all my children (4) and give them money after I buy them all homes, cars, furniture and a sizeable bank account. Pay all of my bills. By a new home, car, furniture, take trips abroad. Go to NBA basketball games, NFL Games, shopping spree in NYC and take my mom, sisters, nieces, and both of my daughters. Broadway shows. Set up a business maybe a spa, take some college business courses for owning a biz and Save and invest what's left.
