Did Anyone Win Powerball?
The jackpot for the Saturday, May 18 drawing was $600 million.
Somewhere in Florida, a lucky Powerball winner is holding a piece of paper worth approximately $600 million.
Prior to the May 18 drawing, lottery officials had predicted there would be a winner given 80 percent of the possible number combinations were in play. They were right. Not only did one ticket match the winning numbers of 10-13-14-22-52-11, but over 7.5 million players won non-jackpot prizes totalling $83.9 million.
In Georgia, two players won a $1 million prize by matching five numbers and 17 players matched four numbers plus the Powerball to win $10,000.
