Holidays can be a stressful time. While you are enjoying what is hopefully a peaceful and merry Christmas with friends and family, please keep those less fortunate in your thoughts and prayers.

Please take a few moments and make sure you are not inadvertently doing anything that could put your belongings at risk. Here’s an exercise for you: Go to Twitter, search for Disney World and just take a look at how many people have gone online and pinpointed their location for the world – including burglars -- to see.

Did you know Dacula has a group of volunteers ready to help whenever disaster strikes? This emergency response team has nearly two dozen members and is based out of . Check out the article for more about this team that helps people recover both physically and emotionally after a disaster.

 

This week’s inspection report was notable because we had three restaurants earn perfect scores. I don’t know about you, but I feel a lot better eating at a restaurant with high scores. Speaking of restaurants ...

 

If you have already reached the point where you are ready to get out of the house or just do not feel like cooking, there are a few options for dining out in Dacula on Christmas Day. I hope you like oriental or waffles. Szechuan chicken sounds pretty good to me right now.
