Duck Dynasty' Star to Visit Hebron Baptist Church

Dacula doesn’t get a lot of visits from celebrities, so the news that reality television star Jase Robertson from “Duck Dynasty” will be in town in March has created some excitement. Robertson is scheduled to speak at Hebron Baptist Church. Tickets go on sale next month, so keep an eye out because I bet they’ll go fast. 

Mayor: New Sign Part of City's Commitment to Open Governance

Whether you like the new sign or not, you have to at least appreciate the reason for getting it. Mayor Jimmy Wilbanks explained the sign is part of the city’s efforts to relay information to residents. We all want to know what is going on with our local government right? The sign is just one way you can get information about city happenings. The city has its own website, daculaga.gov, and you can stop by or call City Hall. ATV Stolen off of Trailer Parked in Front of Home

Crime happens. Thieves will steal anything that isn’t nailed down and sometimes they’ll take that stuff too. You may not be able to prevent every occurrence of crime, but you can take steps that will greatly increase the chances of recovering your property if it should be stolen. Take a few minutes and write down or photograph the serial numbers and VINs of all your valuables including tools, dirt bikes, ATVs, electronics, etc. With these numbers, police can enter the item into a database which may ultimately help an officer determine if the piece of property he or she is examining is stolen.
