A look at top stories from Patch sites across Georgia.

Marietta Salutes Fallen Firefighter - Marietta Patch

Marietta firefighter Lonnie Nutt was as humble as they come. And while those who knew him said he never missed an opportunity to help somebody, he never expected anything in return. He worked silently and never sought the spotlight.

But Tuesday called for a celebration of life for the Kennesaw man who died of a massive heart attack Thursday while responding to an automobile accident on Whitlock Avenue.

Woman: Thief Shoved the Skeleton Into Car and Took off - Decatur Patch

Nancy Wilkinson says grinches are stealing her holiday decorations--and her good spirits.

Wilkinson, known around Decatur for going all out to decorate her house on Adair Street for Halloween, Christmas and other holidays, said a young woman stole a life-sized medical skeleton Monday afternoon.

"This was bold," she said in an email. "The woman pulled into our driveway and ran up on the porch. Susan (her partner) saw her come up and was heading for the door when she saw the woman dash down the stairs with the skeleton. She banged on the windows and yelled, but the thief kept moving. Shoved the skeleton into the car and took off."

- Marietta Patch

Charles Raymond Rogers of Marietta wanted to fight.

According to recorded conversations described in a criminal warrant, he didn't want to fight just anybody. Just before 7:40 p.m. March 4, Rogers called the Cobb County 911 Center and asked for the "biggest, baddest son of a b---- from Cobb County PD."

A few minutes past 8 p.m., he called the 911 center again. This time, Rogers requested that two specific employees of the police department be sent to his home in the 200 block of Cedar Way. He said that he was going to "put (the employees') blood on my fists," authorities wrote in the warrant.

The Atlanta Police Department want students and residents in the area of Washington High School to be on the lookout for an older man driving slowly through the neighborhood.  It is believed that this man is either naked or undressed from the waist down and is targeting Washington High School students.

According to Sgt. Gregory Lyon, "the girls said the man was acting creepy and they could tell that he wasn’t dressed from the waist down, even though the man never made eye contact with the girls or tried to talk to them."
