The Hamilton Mill library is one of 15 branches in the Gwinnett County Public Library (GCPL) system and holds the distinction of being the county's first LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified building. Some of the library's "green" features include sunshades, low-flow automatic toilets and faucets, native landscaping and pervious parking.
