New Dacula Patch blogger Eric Echols writes this week about teaching your children to pray and gives readers some insight into how he encourages his own children to talk to God.

Lawrenceville Patch blogger Amy Elk posted multiple entries this week openly discussing her sister and the abusive relationship she was caught up in. Elk offers battered women honest advice for dealing with abuse and refers them to a website where they can receive help.

Apparently some out-of-towners got more than they bargained for when trash talking the community of Loganville this week. Congratulations to the Red Devils who won the 4A state baseball championship and to Loganville-Grayson Patch blogger Heather Morris, who from the comments left on this blog post, definitely has the support of her readers.

Oconee and Athens Patch readers can keep up to date on the relevant happenings with the new Caterpillar plant that will soon be operating in Bogart. The plant is expected to bring around 150 people from outside the area to work at the facility.
