Hundreds Take Part in Five Alarm 5K

Gwinnett Fire and Emergency Services event held at Town Center Park in Suwanee.

The Five Alarm 5K was held in Suwanee for the first time Saturday by Gwinnett Fire and Emergency Services, after years in Grayson.

About 350 people participated in the 3.1-mile run, which started at City Hall and finished on a street behind City Hall.

Cory Cown, a recent Grayson High grad, won the men's division in 18.20. Joy Mariner-Palmer of Suwanee won the women's division at 20:54.
