Who Took My Shoes?? by Matt Hermes

For the past three years McClain and I have been collecting gently worn shoes
and donating them to the Atlanta Mission.  The first year we were able to collect 365 pairs of shoes,  in 2010 we jumped up to 1,598 and this past year we collected 3,338 pairs. (Read more)

On April 15, my wife Karen Thieken from Dacula, Ga., contracted a rare bacterial Group A strep infection which almost killed her. The bacterial infection my wife contracted has two strains: the one Aimee Copeland from Snellville, Ga., contracted and the one my wife contracted. (Read more)
