A man looking for money he said was owed to him, attacked a mother and her son with a pitchfork and piece of asphalt after the son said he didn’t have the money. According to Athens Clarke County Police, the suspect threatened the mother and son with a pitchfork he found nearby, then threw it at them when they climbed inside the woman’s car. The pitchfork broke the windshield. The suspect then threw a large piece of asphalt through the windshield, striking the son in the head, which sent him to the hospital with a possible concussion.
