New Year’s Resolutions in 140 Characters or Less

Have you made any New Year’s resolutions yet? According to USA.gov, some of the more popular resolutions year after year include weight loss, debt management, stress reduction and self-improvement.

Some people may have several of these items on their 2012 to-do list, others have resolutions that are short and to the point -- 140 characters or less. If the idea of fulfilling a long list of goals sounds intimidating, why not try something more manageable? This year, try trimming your resolution down to a tightly-focused tweet.

If you are not familiar with Twitter, here is how it works: Users post “Tweets” or messages that are limited to 140 characters or less. Messages can be categorized through the use of hashtags -- the symbol “#” followed by a word or series of words. To find tweets related to New Year’s resolutions, search for #NewYearsResolutions.
