Dacula Man Accused of Impersonating Police Officer As Part of Revenge Plot

We all get upset or frustrated at times, but how many of us actually sit around and concoct elaborate plots to exact revenge? A Dacula man is accused of doing just that recently. I guess some people are just better at anger management than others. Back when I was in college, I was upset about something and a friend told me, “It could be worse, you could be on fire.” Oddly, that seems to do the trick for me. What are your anger management tricks?

Write-in Campaign Launched Against Rep. Paul Broun

Hopefully everyone is aware by now that, as of Jan. 1, 2013, we will no longer be in Rob Woodall’s 7th Congressional District and will instead be in Paul Broun’s 10th Congressional District. Broun is unopposed in the general election, so he is going to win. However, that hasn’t stopped a UGA scientist from trying to shed light on some of Broun’s less-than-scientific statements. Why would those statements be a problem? Well, it just so happens that Broun, the man who recently called evolution and the Big Bang theory “lies from the pit of hell,” is also on the House Science, Space and Technology Committee. #TruthIsStrangerThanFiction 

The Most Expensive Homes on the Market in Dacula: Oct. 19

The real estate market still has a long way to go, but at least properties appear to be moving a little better than what they were. I am not currently in the market to buy or sell a home, but I do really enjoy browsing the real estate listings. Anyone else do this? I like car shopping too even when I am not looking to buy a car. Does that make online shopping one of my hobbies? I don’t know.
