Pollen Count Higher Today

Showers provided relief over weekend, more rain in the forecast.

Unfortunately for allergy sufferers, yesterday’s relatively low pollen count of 202 has been replaced with a higher reading.

The Atlanta Allergy and Asthma Clinic lists today’s pollen count as 937. Anything over 90 is considered a high level. The primary irritants are oak, maple, sweetgum and birch pollens. No grass pollens are present and weed pollen levels are moderate.

More showers are on the way and should provide some relief from high pollen concentrations throughout most of the week.
