Softball All-Stars Driven to Succeed

12-and-under team advances to state.

Dacula Major All-Stars

Alaina Bock, Kayleigh Burns, Alyssa Criscolo, Victoria Clark, Gianna DeSandre, Vic Eaton, Katherine Kozlowski, Natasha Lajara,  Aly Lord, Meredith Lysaught, Meredith Tucker and Kaitlyn Worley.

Accomplishments: The Dacula Major All-Stars advanced to state after going undefeated in three tournaments in June. The team won 12 consecutive games.

Key to success: Coach Scott Bock said his team has excellent ability on the field, but, more importantly, the players are dedicated.

“These girls are driven to work,” Bock said.

While drive and determination helped the team advance, teamwork also helps. Bock said there is no single star on the team and that players step up as the situation demands.

“When they’re needed, they come through,” he said. “I think the chemistry is phenomenal.”

Bock praised his players for their excellent pitching, good batting and great base running ability.

“All facets of the game these girls excel at,” he said.

The team is comprised of girls ages 11 through 13. The coaches include Scott Bock, Glenn Eaton, Clay Lord and Jeff Lysaught.
