Canine Pet Rescue works with multiple dog breeds, but focuses primarily on German Shepherds. Many of the dogs that are involved with this organization have been mistreated or previously placed in the wrong environment. Once rescued, these dogs typically live with and her husband Butch Conway at a local horse farm.

Prior to adoption, the dogs rescued and cared for by CPR are crate trained, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro chipped and placed on flea and heartworm preventative treatment. Fees to adopt a dog range from $250 to $350. Upon rescue by CPR, dogs undergo temperament evaluation, rehabilitation based on the dogs specific needs, a health overview, obedience training and crate training. The CPR program typically serves anywhere between five to 10 dogs at a time. Visit the Canine Pet Rescue website to view dogs currently available for adoption.
