The Top 5 Things You Can Do on Dacula Patch

You already know you can read local news on Dacula Patch, but did you realize you can be a part of the action?

Why settle for just reading the news when you can be a newsmaker? Here are five ways you can use Dacula Patch to let the community know about news and events that are important to you:

  1. Post an event. Hosting a yard sale, bake sale, car wash, etc.? Don’t rely on posters and signs at intersections. Post your event on our Dacula Patch calendar so the whole community will know about it. Events are also sent out in our daily newsletter.
  2. Post an announcement. Recently married? Celebrating an anniversary? Had a baby? Share your good news with the community. Have video of the bride and groom leaving the ceremony? Post it on Dacula Patch. You can also use announcements to share news about promotions, retirements, awards and a host of other accomplishments. Guess what? Announcements go out in our daily newsletter as well. Not a newsletter subscriber? Scroll to the bottom of the page and look for “newsletters” to sign up -- it’s free and easy.
  3. Sell or buy local goods. Maybe yard sales aren’t your thing. Maybe you just need to get rid of a few items. Post your items for sale in our Dacula Patch classifieds. There is no charge for this service. You can also shop for other local deals, search for jobs or even post a job opening.
  4. Be a Patch blogger. Are you a subject matter expert or just really passionate about something? Share your knowledge and passion with the community as a Dacula Patch blogger. You can post as often or as little as you like. Have fun with it! If you’d like to blog on Dacula Patch, click here.
  5. Be a part of the story. You don’t have to settle for just reading a story on Dacula Patch, you can be a part of it. Add a comment or post a photo or video. You can contribute to the story or just discuss it with the community. You decide.
