“What's even more bothersome to me is the tacky corporate 'Polo' logo on the blazers. I'm sure this all has to do with Ralph Lauren's financial ties to the US IOC. They're the ones who should have known better, they could have contracted with US manufacturers to make the uniforms. Of course when they did this for the last two Olympics no one seemed to care.” – Brian Crawford on

“The majority of voting Gwinnettians are 'older, educated' folks...we are the 'lifeblood' the Gwinnett community. As such, we've learned that ‘sex appeal’ doesn't matter as much as the quality of relationships and the peaceful communitites we call 'home.' Mr. Stockert seems to desire the label of 'with it' or 'hip' as we used to call it!! I cannot link ‘sex appeal’ to rapid transit no matter how I look at it....” – Andrew McNeil on

“The bottom line for me is that people in Atlanta love our cars. Mass transit will never catch on outside the perimeter. Voting yes for TSplost is like the school asking me for a supply contribution for my kid when I have already supplied them with paper towels and copy paper. We are taxed to death in a failing economy as it is. Show me a politician that can manage the tax revenue they already collect and I might vote for projects like this just to improve and maintain our roads. Otherwise, it is ‘No’!” – Tara Cochran on

“Political leaders coming together from all over to reach a consensus on how to SPEND NEW tax revenue really isn’t news to most. Now put those same leaders in a room to reach a consensus on how REDUCE current tax levels or CUT fraud FIRST and then you have a REAL signature moment for the region.” – R on

“As always, it will never be enough for those who seem to think those who have more should give it all. Others will always be judged no matter what. Let's look at our own doings before we judge what others do or don't do. In the end we all pray to the same God. In the end we're all going to be judged. In the end money doesn't buy you eternal life. Let's all try make ourselves better. God knows we're not perfect for sure!” – Alicia on
