When I read stories like this I can't help but think how lucky we are that there are those who choose to serve and protect the rest of us. Although he would probably never admit it, the deputy who came to this woman's aid is a true hero. I hope he receives a commendation for his actions. – Brian Crawford on “ ”

Mr. Hancock....you stated - "I decided long ago I would never vote for a tax increase on myself. I have to live with my representatives raising taxes, but I don’t have to do it for them." I just wanted you to know that I agree 100%.. T-SPLOST is nonsense. – Ed Carr on

Why anyone would want to be President of the United States is beyond me. You become under a microscope and any hope of privacy is long gone. Mitt Romney is a moderate.. not a liberal or a conservative. We are not voting for a Pope, we are voting for a President and each of us much vote for the person who we feel will do the best job for the country. Governors have always made better Presidents than Congressmen. Whether Romney will make a good President remains to be seen. I do think he'll be better than the one we've got. He has my vote. Any President has a tough row to hoe. The economy is in shambles, unemployment and the unemployeed is at an all-time high. (I personally know people who are NOT looking for work because of their unemployment benefits.) Plus we're still dealing with the aftermath of 9-11 with the war in Afghanistan. I too am LDS and will vote for Romney, not because he's Mormon but because I feel he's the best person for the job. – by Sharon on

I'm going to UNTIE ATLANTA by voting these leeches out ! – M.K. Osborne on

When we get robo calls from politicians, I just hope they have some way of knowing how quickly we hang up - as soon as we hear their name, no matter whose name it is. If we want to correspond with a politician, we will get in touch. – Elizabeth on
