Usher's Stepson Reportedly Brain Dead After Lake Lanier Accident

Kyle Glover, son of Usher's estranged wife Tameka Foster, was struck in the head by a passing jet ski while riding an inner tube on Friday at Lake Lanier.

The 11-year-old stepson of music superstar Usher has been declared brain dead according to entertainment website TMZ.com. No decision has yet been made as to whether or not to remove the child from life support.

The Atlanta Journal Constitution reported Kyle Glover and a 15-year-old girl were being pulled on an inner tube behind a boat when they were struck by a passing jet ski on Friday. Both were life-flighted to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston. Glover, according to WSBtv.com, was unresponsive at the scene. The girl sustained a broken arm and a laceration to her head.

WSBtv.com reported that two DNR rangers witnessed Friday's crash and pulled one of the children out of the water while a nearby boater rescued the other child.

The incident is the latest in a string of serious accidents this year at Lake Lanier. Two young boys -- Griffin Prince, 11, and Jake Prince, 9, were killed June 21 when when the . Bennett was subsequently . An April 21 boating collision .
