Where to Buy a Christmas Tree This Holiday Season

Whether you want to cut your own tree or buy a freshly pre-cut tree, there are lots of options in the Dacula area. If you know of a lot that we missed, tell us in the comments.

• The Christmas Tree Forest,

Location: 5058 Spout Springs Road, Buford between Thompson Mill Road and Braselton Highway

Hours of operation: Thursday through Sunday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.

This location offers freshly cut Fraser Fir, Balsam Fir, Norwegian Spruce, Blue Spruce and White Spruce trees.

• Mike’s Trees

Location: 3847 Loganville Highway, Loganville

Hours of operation: Saturdays and Sundays through Dec. 18 from 10 a.m. until dark.

This is a choose and cut Christmas tree farm offering Virginia Pine, Red Cedar, White Pine, Leyland Cypress and Scotch Pine trees.

• Cooper’s Tree Farm

Location: 5577 Winder Highway, Braselton

Hours of operation: daily from 9:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m.

Leyland Cypress cut your own trees are available as well as pre-cut Fraser Firs.

• Thompson’s Tree Farm

Location: 1829 Prospect Road, Lawrenceville

Hours of operation: 9:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. seven days a week through Dec. 20.

Choose and cut trees include Leyland Cypress, Murray Cypress, Blue Ice, Green Giant and Carolina Sapphire as well as pre-cut North Carolina Fraser Firs.

Location: 2120 Hamilton Creek Parkway, Dacula

Christmas trees are available during regular store hours Monday through Saturday 7 a.m. until 9 p.m. and on Sundays from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m.

Location: 2476 Hamilton Mill Parkway, Dacula

Fresh cut Christmas trees are available during regular store hours seven days a week from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m.

• Buford Corn Maze

Location: 4470 Bennett Road, Buford

Hours of operation: The Christmas tree lot will be open through Dec. 24 from 12 p.m. until 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturdays and from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Sundays.

The lot offers freshly cut Frasier, Noble and Douglas Firs.

• Walmart

Location: 3250 Sardis Church Road, Buford

Fresh cut Christmas trees are available during regular store hours. The store is open 24 hours per day.
