of the Mind and our competition. The members include 4 Central Gwinnett students as well as a local Mill Creek student.

The Central Gwinnett HS Odyssey of the Mind Team recently placed 2nd in
the State Finals competition and will be advancing to Odyssey of the Mind World
Finals in Ames, Iowa. Odyssey of the Mind is an international educational
program that provides creative problem-solving opportunities for students from kindergarten through college. Team members apply their creativity to solve
problems that range from building mechanical devices to presenting their own
interpretation of literary classics. They then bring their solutions to
competition on the local, state, and World level. Thousands of teams from
throughout the U.S. and from about 25 other countries participate in the program.
Millions of students from
kindergarten through college have participated in the Odyssey of the Mind.
Students learn to work cooperatively in teams while creatively solving their
problem.

If you
are not able to join us Saturday, donations can be sent to the school at 564
