Contest & Prizes for Teen Read Week @ Auburn Public Library

Teen Read Week begins Sunday (Oct. 13) and runs through Saturday (Oct. 19).

Auburn Public Library will have 3 separate contests running in honor of Teen Read Week.

1. Daily Trivia Question - All correct answers submitted by teens will be entered into a daily raffle for a prize!

2. Daily Check Out Raffle - All teens that check out a Young Adult (YA) book will receive a raffle ticket for a drawing that will be held each day. A prize will be given away daily. The more times they come in and check out a book, the more opportunities they'll have to win a prize!

3. Teen Fan Fiction Writing Contest - Teens that are interested may write an essay, short story, poem, or manuscript inspired by one of the 28 books on YALSA's Top Teen Reading List of 2013. All entries must be accompanied by the proper entry form (attached - or they can pick one up at the library). All entries must be submitted by no later than Saturday, November 2 @ 7:45 p.m. The winner of the contest will win a one year subscription to VOYA magazine for teens! Please spread the word about these events to your teens.
All of the raffles and contests are open to those ages 12-18.
