Why you might need to sell your Xbox 360 or PS3 Sony and Microsoft have revealed their new gaming consoles, the PS4 and Xbox One. The Xbox One is priced at $500The PlayStation 4 is priced at $400This is good and bad news for you (which one do you want first…I’ll give you the good news first). The good news is that the new consoles have new technology and will be more up to date than their 8 year old predecessors. The bad news is that your old consoles will be obsolete.Here are three reasons why you might be interested in buying an Xbox One or PS4 for your kids.
1. Old consoles will be Obsolete next year It has been 8 years since the Xbox 360 and PS3 came out, and that’s a pretty long time for a console to live (they usualy last from 5-7 years). The Xbox One and PS4 are the evolutions of the aforementioned consoles, and like the saying says, “Out with the old and in with the new”. Soon the creators of the 360 and PS3 will stop making games for them and only make games for their new consoles so that you will have to buy them if you want to continue to be able to play new games (It sucks, I know).
2. Your kids are going to bug you about them Once your kids see the new consoles and what they can do, they will constantly nag you about getting them one (I know I did). Eventually, one of their friends is going to get one and he/she is going to tell your kid about all the cool games and features that it has. This is going to make your kid want one and this is how the nagging begins.
3. They look amazing The Xbox One is priced at $500The PlayStation 4 is priced at $400The dates of release haven’t been officially announced but there is speculation that they will arrive around the fall, either October or November. Both consoles look very promising and determined to give you your monies worth.
Wait! What about the games I just bought?
The PS4 can play PS3 games (Yay) but the xbox one cant play Xbox 360 games (aww). But the Xbox One can play Bluray Discs now. (if that means anything)
