Is Your Local Organization in Need of a Summer Fundraising Idea?

Relay For Life of Gwinnett County, GA, posted a suggestion on its Facebook page.

With schools out and the days long, summer is a great time for nonprofits to host fundraisers, but why stick to the typical car wash or donut sale?

Avoid being outside in the summer heat and consider a tip from Relay For Life of Gwinnett County, GA — host a game night fundraiser. A post on the organization's Facebook page reads, "Poker, Bridge, Bunko, Bingo, Jenga — any of these can be hosted in tournament style ask for an entry fee. Players can ‘buy their way’ back into the game once eliminated. Think of ways to promote income enhancers w/ food/beverages, door prizes, gift boxes, silent auctions, etc."
