'Tis the season for holiday parties and the accompanying reminders from local, state and federal officials on the dangers of drinking and driving. This video, created by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is one of the more interesting anti-DUI PSAs I've seen. I'm not sure it is as creepily effective as the one with cops materializing out of walls or as memorable as the one where people are driving around in cars full of beer, but it is pretty good.
Of course, it might be a whole lot more effective if, instead of RoboCop, it featured the T-1000 or the ED 209: "Please put down your drink. You have 20 seconds to comply."
In all seriousness though, be careful on the roads this holiday season and please don't drink and drive.
