What Are You Doing on This Memorial Day?

Memorial Day … A day to reflect on our Veterans and their service to our country.

The theme of this year’s parade is β€œ20 years of Honor and Remembrance”.Β  The Grand Marshal for this year’s parade is a β€œRiderless Horse” presented by the Central Georgia Mounted Color Guard in honor of our fallen soldiers.Β  The parade also features the Fallen Heroes of Georgia, Georgia Gwinnett College ROTC, Georgia National Guard, Georgia State Defense Force, Marines and the Marine Corp League, Veterans, VFW Posts, American Legion Riders, present day and restored military vehicles, bands, Scouts, Churches, Community groups and organizations, antique cars, trucks and tractors, local businesses and much, much more!

The Dacula Memorial Day parade has been a proud tradition in Dacula since 1994. The parade remains the only Memorial Day parade in Metro Atlanta, largest in the state of Georgia and one of the largest in our nation with 160 entries this year! The parade typically attracts 10,000 to 12,000 spectators that line the streets to honor our Veterans.
