Another 'Now Is The Time To Buy A House' Story
Two key measures now suggest it's an excellent time to buy a house, either to live in for the long term or for investment income.
The Wall Street Journal published another story like many other National and well respected publications that the time to buy a home has never been better. Over the past five years I have seen story after story of the doom and gloom of the housing market and for the most part the articles have been pretty much correct in their estimation of the housing crash. If this is in fact true, and these "know it all's" have been correct in the past then it makes sense that they are in fact correct now.

The good news? Two key measures now suggest it's an excellent time to buy a house, either to live in for the long term or for investment income (but not for a quick flip). First, the nation's ratio of house prices to yearly rents is nearly restored to its pre-bubble average. Second, when mortgage rates are taken into consideration, houses are the most affordable they have been in decades.
