Last Day of School, Please Be Careful

I know my house was buzzing with excitement over this being the last day of school. Summer vacation is right around the corner and we are all looking forward to some well deserved time off in the Hermes family.

Camps, a family vacation (finally), day trips, you name it, we have it planned and we are looking forward to a wonderful summer. All around Dacula, families are getting ready to start new chapters in their lives.

High school graduation is here and all of the local kids are so deserving of being able to relax and enjoy themselves. They have worked hard to graduate and they deserve to have some fun.

Unfortunately for some, this can lead to trouble. It seems like every year around this time we get news of a local kid who is killed right around graduation time from either a speed related accident or because of a alcohol related incident.

I can only hope that this year, we have no such tragedy in the community. Too much sadness and pain for what should be a wonderful and happy time. Please keep an eye out for anyone that needs some help over the coming days and look out for your friends and neighbors.
