Renting in and Around Dacula Is Going to Cost You More

Is now the time to buy a home?

If there has not been enough encouraging data to emphasize that now is the best time to buy a home, this bit of news should really do the trick.

Rental rates are on the rise again for the third year in a row.  If you are currently renting a home or an apartment, do you really want to throw that money away and pay off someone else's mortgage?

Apartment rents are expected to jump 5.5 percent in 2012. MPF Research sees a 4.5 percent increase, while researcher Reis expects a 3 percent increase, although that forecast may change, says senior economist Ryan Severino. This is encouraging news to current landlords and a negative to those who are still renting these properties.

There has never been a better time to buy and the national housing index indicates that the nation has never seen a more affordable time to buy a home. Interest rates are still below 4 percent, market pricing is down and demand is growing.
