We live in Statham. I don't know what the rain total was, but I know it rained pretty much constantly and at times very heavily. It was still raining heavily when I left for work this morning. The chickens were grumpy and everything in the house is damp! But I'm glad for the rain.

Kristi - I think someone snuck onto your property and poured some water in your gauge, either that or it’s the spit coming from all that ranting and vitriol in the Boy Scout blog?!
If you look at the CoCoRaHS amounts, they are not that much. But I suppose it's possible. Lake Lanier is up 1.33 feet in the last 24 hours. The Chattahoochee River at Cornelia went from about 200 cubic feet per second to more than 10,000 cubic feet per second after the rainfall.
