Funeral Services Set for Father, Son Killed in Fire

Leslie (Les) Lee Cash, age 73 and Michael Cash, age 8, of Dacula, .

Mr. Cash was a wonderful husband, was loved by everyone, loved everyone and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was a United States Army Veteran and retired after 30 years of service with Dekalb County Board of Education as a master wood worker.

Michael was a honor roll student at and loved racing, especially Dale Earnhardt, Jr.

Mr. Cash was preceded in death by his parents, William and Eva Mae Cash; son, Jeff Cash; brothers, Milton, Ralph and Cecil Cash and sister, Maudie Hayes. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Debbie Cash; children: Beth and Jason Still of Sugar Hill, Barry Cash of Auburn and Katherine Cash of Dacula; brothers: Edgar and wife Grace Cash of Snellville, David and wife Sara Cash of Monticello, William Oliver Junior Cash of Commerce; sisters: Ora Watson of Florida, Marion Sanders of Mayesville, Lenora and husband Edward Wigley of Loganville, Florence Robinson of Loganville, Patty and husband Winfred Dutton of Lilburn; sister-in-law: Mildred Cash and grandson: William Lee Still.

Michael is survived by his mother, Debbie Cash of Dacula; brother Barry Cash of Auburn; sisters Beth and Jason Still of Sugar Hill and Katherine Cash of Dacula.

Funeral Services will be held 2:30 p.m. Saturday, July 9, in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Rev. Mike Landress will officiate. Burial will follow at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery in Bethlehem.
