Funeral Services to Be Held Friday for Wife of Dacula Marshal

Janie Miller, 75, wife of , passed away Tuesday, July 26. The Millers were married for 55 years.

will be closed Friday from 9 a.m. to noon in order to allow city employees to attend the funeral. Services are scheduled for July 29 at 10 a.m. in the Lawrenceville chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Pastor Steven L. Carroll, Joy Carroll and Rev. Lewis Stover will officiate. Burial will follow at Gwinnett Memorial Park in Lawrenceville.

Mrs. Miller was a member of the . She is survived by her husband Reed; children: Diane Miller of Norcross, David and Claudette Miller of Dacula, Shirley and Brad Roberts of Columbia, S.C., Barbara Miller of Lawrenceville, Reed and Annette Miller Jr. of Commerce, Charlie and Teresa Miller of Cleveland, Tammy and Jerry Stanley of Dacula and Gordon and Julie Miller of Dacula. She is also survived by brother and sister-in-law Grover Wayne Jr. and Leigh England of Ind.; sisters: Marsha Ousley of Ohio, Sanai Prater, Patty England and Elizabeth England, all of Ind.; 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Flowers accepted or donations may be made to Dacula Church of God, 486 Tanner Road, Dacula.

The family will receive friends from 5 - 9 p.m. tonight, July 28, and 9 – 10 a.m. on Friday, July 29 at Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 300 Simonton Road in Lawrenceville. An online guest registry is available at www.stewartfh.com.
