Why I Will Walk to End Alzheimer's

As Team Captain for SHIRLEY'S SOLDIERS, I am participating again this year in the Walk to End Alzheimer's which is an event that raises awareness and funds to advance care, support, and research.  

I realize most household budgets are straining to purchase essentials, leaving very little, if any, to contribute to a worthy cause. Do you know that the Recycling Bank of Gwinnett (4300 Satellite Blvd, Duluth) will PAY for aluminum cans (soda, beer, etc.) & plastic bottles (water, soda, any with number 1 in recycle triangle)? Yes, it might be pocket change for you but if you designate your amount as a contribution to SHIRLEY'S SOLDIERS & our Walk to End Alz then your contribution will be added with many others. Donations can be made between now and September 21st, the day of the Walk.
