Hoss Looking for His True Forever Home

For those of you who don't know him meet Hoss a wonderful dog looking for his true forever home ...

Meet Hoss...a stunning 2 year old Anatolian Shepherd/Bloodhound mix whom we foster for the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Department Jail Dogs Program. Hoss was brought into the jail from Animal Control to join this highly successsful program of joint inmate and canine rehabilitation, but unfortunately Hoss had a severe fear of men. Late last year, Desperate Dogs was asked to work with him to help him be more comfortable around men and thus be able to find his forever home. With a different approach to his handling, Hoss very quickly became very comfortable around men both here at the Ranch, and out in the community, and very soon became the official greeter for all humans and their dogs arriving at the Ranch.

Hoss was recently adopted out to live with his good friend Karma, but was returned due to a change in family circumstances and so now he is seeking his true forever home...Hoss is playful, adorable, cuddly, happy, gentle and the most easy going temperament you will ever encounter....He's 85 pounds of lovin' all wrapped up in a big ball of shaggy fur and huge paws with a snout that nibbles on your nose when he loves you. This boy is the real deal! We have never met a dog that is as adoptable as Hoss....he is extremely good looking as you can see, but it's his personality and character, where it counts, that he has it all going on.....

He loves nothing more than to lie on his back on a bed or the sofa next to you, getting his belly rubbed but if you want to go out and play, he's right up and ready to join you. This is the kind of dog that they write childrens stories about...a real one in a million! Hoss is extremely playful and sociable with other dogs so we feel he would be happiest in a home where he has a friend. Give us a call on 678-936-2771 if you'd like to meet this adorable boy or email us at pennythedoglistener@yahoo.com and please SHARE this with your friends.
