$200,000 Worth of Medical Implants Reported Stolen

Victim said implants were in his vehicle in his garage at the time of the theft.

Approximately $200,000 worth of spinal implants are missing after an entering auto incident in Hamilton Mill on the afternoon of July 16.

Gwinnett County Police were called to a Millwater Crossing residence after the victim realized a case containing the spinal implants had been removed from his vehicle. According to the victim, he parked his car in his garage with the car doors unlocked and the garage door open. When he came out to his car thirty minutes later, the case -- which the victim said resembled a computer bag -- was gone. An envelope containing $750 that had been left in the center console of the vehicle was also taken.
There are no known witnesses or suspects.

The case is listed as active.
