Another Car Window Smashed at Gold's

Incident latest in a series of Dacula area car break-ins.

An Auburn man recently became a victim of the over the past few months.

On the morning of July 15, the victim was at when another member of the club advised the front desk staff that someone had broken into a red Ford Fusion in the parking lot.

After being informed the vehicle was his, the victim walked to the parking lot and found his front passenger side window had been smashed. Nothing appeared to be missing from the vehicle and the car alarm was still activated.

According to the police report, the victim was unable to locate his car keys at the time of the report and thought perhaps they had been stolen. The victim said he took his keys inside the gym and had carried them to each exercise station, but was unable to find them once he was notified that his car had been entered.

The club member who initially reported the car break-in said they did not seen anyone in the parking lot, only the broken window. No other gym members reported seeing anything suspicious.

The incident, . The victim arrived at the gym at 6 a.m. and was notified of the car break-in just after 7:30 a.m.
